Business Inspired by Nature

“People get addicted or attached to substances like coffee, alcohol, sex or drugs. But the main thing we all get addicted to is ourselves. The most important work is to detach from ourselves and turn our attention towards the whole. “ - Choeze Kochen Rinpoche

Indigenous wisdom recognises that most of what we don’t see in life and nature is actually hidden and might be more important than the world we can observe.

In today’s contemporary world, science and technology have become the new fundamentalists in today’s society. Everything has to be measurable as we got obsessed with efficiency, comparison, and growth. However, the most important expressions of human nature, culture and connection, are not measurable.

Looking at nature, what nourishes a tree is invisible to us: its roots, its source, how it collects water to grow, its connections with other trees underneath, and the infinite network of mycelium interconnecting individual plants and organisms.

So, as the health of your own soil and surroundings determine the health of your neighbourhood or region, so will your (invisible) relationship with self, determine the health of your relationships with others and nature, now and in the future.

The work that is emerging for us, as RegenerateX, is to nourish and nurture the invisible within, the connections with each other and our relationship with nature.

The most urgent and important work to do for us today in society is that invisible work of regenerating ourselves and our relationships with each other and nature, like the invisible world of trees and mycelium.
